Hey, Joshua Hagen here! School has been excellent these last few weeks. We have been studying basic theology and looking at the character of our God. I am so thankful for the Bible that He has written and protected through the ages for us. It gives us so much information about Himself and how He works so we have tangible words to refer to. What a blessing!
For those of you who do not know, I am attending New Tribes Bible Institute for two years to study the Word of God. The reason I chose this school, instead of another, is because of their focus on frontier missions and by frontier missions I mean getting the Gospel to people who don’t have any opportunity to hear. The number of people who do not have access to the Gospel is staggering. 40.6% of the world’s population right now will live and die without ever hearing the name of Jesus or have explained to them the freedom they can have in Christ. This fact, joined with the direct mandate from Scripture, Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation.” is my missionary call. New Tribes Bible Institute hears the same call for missions and is passionate about equipping young and old for a future in missions.
That is why I have decided to spend two years studying the Bible here at NTBI. As any person who is a part of the body, I need your prayers as I make decisions concerning my future; I can’t do this alone.
