Course Description
This course will cover the material of each of the OT historical books in a detailed overview.
The character of God and His goals for human history will be in focus throughout the course.
Course Goals
Upon completion of this course,
- The student will be familiar with the general outline and content of each of the OT
historical books. - The student will appreciate the value of the OT historical books for Christians today,
understanding how they show the development of God’s story for human history. - The student will understand the significance of King David and God’s covenant with him
for the rest of the Bible. - The student will have a greater knowledge of and appreciation for God’s character
based on the various stories covered in the course.
Credits: 3
This class can also be audited for $40 per credit hour.
